CDSS X HKDI STREET CULTURAL MEETS INNOVATION COLLECTION

To stay in sync with the trend, many brands have infused innovative street elements into their design concepts. CDSS, as a platform for knowledge exchange and in response to this evolving phenomenon, will launch a series of activities under the theme of “Street Culture Meets Innovation”.

The series will include innovative design projects, the latest retail technological experiences and seminars on O2O strategic retailing and brand management, specifically targeted for students, alumni as well as the industry. Through these activities, CDSS aims to explore further opportunities for collaborations and exchange of the latest innovative knowledge and to encourage the stimulation of creative ideas and solutions for future challenges.

ABOUT CDSS

CDSS is one of the Knowledge Centres at the HKDI (Hong Kong Design Institute) established in 2019. It is a learning and teaching platform comprises of Big Data Analytics, E-Commerce, Design Incubation, and Technology-Driven In-Store Experience and is missioned to serve as a knowledge exchange hub for academics and retailers locally, regionally, and internationally, to synergies latest developments, innovative ideas, and best practices, with a vision to build business strategies and design solutions for future challenges. Various kinds of e-commerce learning and teaching activities would be developed to offer a real-life retail experiential experience to hone the skills of young designers, nurture their entrepreneurial instincts and business acumen with the above of mentioned missions.
