Falling Flowers
The artwork is a device that turns newspapers into flowers. I cut Hong Kong newspapers into flowers, and let them fall from above. The things in the city are getting ridiculous and we cannot even deal with it, but there is no way to make a change. I choose to find “fun” in such reality, by turning the news into flowers and enjoying them fall. Yet upon closer look, the words on the flowers still record the news.
